Six incidents of mischief to vehicles reported on single day

The Hackensack Police Department responded to six separate calls of criminal mischief to motor vehicles Monday, Aug. 25. Two more complaints were received on Aug. 27.

Monday’s incidents were recorded at the following locations:

Davis Avenue, Byrne Street, Orchard Street, Grand Avenue, Maple and Pangborn, and the Target parking lot on Main Street

On Wednesday, a complainant reported that a vehicle parked at Kenneth and Mary had graffiti on it. The second call of mischief that day came from Ferretti Moving on Union Street. There, a ball-bearing pellet was the apparent cause of damage to one of the vehicle’s windows.
