With their family and friends at their sides, Gloria and Howard Williams celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows during a June 7 ceremony at the Fiesta. The Rev. Toney Jackson officiated, while lifelong friend and community historian, Lois Braithwaite, eloquently rendered reflections. Rosemary Flowers Jackson, orator and author, paid tribute to the couple with the recitation of an original piece describing their life’s journey together.
