Hackensack's own little ice princess Alexa Nazarko skated her program to sheer perfection last month in the Girls Pre-Preliminary Freeskate event at the Central Eastern Regional championships held in Bridgeport, Conn., earning her second regionals win in two years.

Alexa has also taken the silver spot on the podium for the Spring Open held in Princeton, along with a Bronze for The Garden State Games held in Wayne, New Jersey.

Alexa, although only 7 years old, has also been nominated and in the running for the N.J.F.S.C. Junior Achievement Award for 2008.
