Bruce A. Gaeta
Honorable Bruce A. Gaeta, 65, of Wyckoff, died Wednesday, May 28.
Mr. Gaeta was born in Hackensack on June 14, 1942, and retired in 2006 as Superior Court Judge State of New Jersey in Hackensack after 19 years of service. He was a graduate of Ramapo High School, Seton Hall University and New York Law School. His hobbies were coaching baseball in Wyckoff, fishing, flying R.C. airplanes, sports and playing cards at the fire house. He was a member of the New Jersey and Bergen County Bar Associations, Lakeland RC Flying Club and Protection Fire Company # 1 Association of the Wyckoff Fire Department.
Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Jacqueline (nee Portnoy), his devoted children, Jennifer A. Gaeta of Asbury Park, Joseph B. Gaeta of Wyckoff, and his grandson Connor. Bruce also leaves his brothers, Anthony Gaeta, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, and Ronald Gaeta of Sussex, and many nieces and nephews.
Entombment at the Hackensack Cemetery.
Ruth Ann Larkins
Ruth Ann Larkins, of Hackensack, died on Thursday, May 29.
Beloved mother of Michelle Thomas, Paula Price, Marsha Price, Lee Larkins, Kim Larkins, Earl Price Jr. and Michael Price. Sister of Bobby Blizzard and Charles Larkins. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Verna McPartland
Verna "Ruth" (nee Latham) McPartland, 85, of Rochelle Park, died Wednesday, May 28.
She was a homemaker, past president of both the Rochelle Park Women's Club and Hackensack Art Club.
Beloved wife of the late Walter J. Mc Partland (2007). Devoted mother of Nancy Catalanello and her husband Lester and the late Walter James Mc Partland (2004). Loving grandmother of Lisa Catalanello and her husband Tony Alessi, Jessica Shone and her husband Richard, Emery and Garrett Mc Partland and great-grandmother of Jenna, Vanessa, Joshua and Lauren. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Sandy Mc Partland, three sisters and two brothers. She is predeceased by two sisters. Visiting is on Sunday from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S113 Farview Avenue, Paramus. Seymour Baskind, 90, of Hackensack, died Tuesday, May 27.
Beloved husband of Edith. Loving son of the late Louis and Dora Baskind. Devoted father of Lawrence (Jill Peters) of Cortlandt, NY and Carl (Dianne) of Framingham, MA. Dear brother of Irwin and the late Howard. Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Matthew, Julie and Melanie.
Seymour volunteered his time for more than 20 years to the Hackensack University Medical Center.

Joseph L. Dembow
Joseph L. Dembow, 96 of Hackensack, died on Tuesday, May 27.
Beloved husband of the late Adelaide Dembow. Devoted father of Judith Schider, Michael and Thomas Dembow and the late Richard M. Dembow and Rev. Leonard Dembow. Joseph is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and predeceased by one grandson.
Interment at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.

Carol Grieco, 62, of Lakewood and Paramus, died on Sunday, May 25.

Camille Zito
Camille Zito, 79, of Paramus, died on Tuesday, May 27.
Before retiring in 1998 she had worked for the Bergen County Clerks Office for 25 years in the Mortgage and Deeds Department. She was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, Hackensack.
Dearest sister of Patsy Zito of Paramus and the late Frank Zito. Adoring aunt of Michael Zito and his wife Terry of So. Hackensack, Frank Zito Jr. of Soouth Hackensack and the late Ronald Zito Cherished great-aunt of Jennifer Cenicola and her husband Ronald, Christopher Zito and Taylor Zito. Loving sister-in-law of Ida Zito of So. Hackensack.

Armen Parseghian
Armen Parseghian, 83, of Campbell, Calif., died May 8.
Armen was born in 1924 in Bronx, N.Y. The Parseghian family moved to New Milford in 1928. His athletic prowess came to the fore during his term at Hackensack High School. He was the top scorer in soccer in all of Bergen County and named to the All State Soccer Team. He served his country honorably in France and Germany during WW II in the field heavy artillery division of the U.S. Army. He began his softball career on sandlots in Germany and a severe broken leg ended his softball career in 1954. Armen moved to California in 1956 where he met and married his beloved wife Marion Garry of Los Angeles in 1957.
Armen is survived by his wife Marion, sons, Gary, Van and Glenn, daughter in-laws Michiko and Stevie, grandchildren Sandra, Gary Jr. and Lea, great-grandchild Cheyenne, sister Margo Keurajian, and brothers George, Edward, Masis and Vahan. He was predeceased by brothers Richard and Haig.
Services were private.
