In late May, Eddie Costanzo and George Fosdick discussed the idea of developing a 5K run through the streets of Ridgefield Park. An avid runner, Costanzo wanted to organize the event simply because it’s been years since the last one passed through town.

For most people, the summertime yard sale is a way to get a little cash back from a lot of old stuff. If it’s a good day, they may make enough to take the family to a movie, or given the high price of gas these days, fill up the SUV.
